First, a lot of thanks to Steve who worked on this over the years. It was a daunting task for sure.

As far as Matrix goes, you fumbled the ball. Badly. You are not the first developer to do that with a computer game project nor will you be the last, but this is a pretty big fumble.

Essentually, you made it that no one else could not take up the project of one of the best known WW2 grand strategic war games of all time (Or at least locked it out for over 10 years) while your promises kept coming up empty. There wasn't a lot of transparency on your part on the status/backing of the project other than the 1 person you had on it for the vast majority of time for its "development".

Who knows if those of us that would love to see this game really come to the computer (complete with an AI) and deliver as promised. Computer programing has come a long way, but it is going to take very deep pockets and a lot of programers a lot of time to do it. As such, I doubt it will ever happen, which is a shame.

Well said. Unfortunately, developers never learn. Jagged Alliance's many sequels, War and Peace, Civilization 7, 1492, Pantheon, the list is endless of over promising, taking the money, and producing nothing.
