Crazy idea for a feature

A New ships sunk list that only lists confirmed sinkings? I do not know if Tracker does this as I've never used it. Intel list has too many errors to really use. Right now I am trying to keep track of it with notes.

Even IRL, there are many flavors of "confirmed". So, no, I think what we have is what it should be ... "confirmation" comes later. IRL, there should be about 15% false confirmations ... we don't enjoy that at this time .... :D

the fog of war (FoW) is a two edged sword IMHO. If a game wants to even approach some sort of realism, it must host elements of FoW. Yes it's frustrating; but to players that gravitate toward realism, essential. the game has a playable balance between knowing all and tha FoW. In time, sinkings are confirmed, keeping in mind during WWII many losses went unconfirmed until after the war was over (and some still technically unknown!). In the area of downed aircraft, the FoW is even more omnipresant! So I see no reason to decrease the fog and more reasons to increase it if realism is important to you! If playability is more your thing, let loss indicators be exact! You can always set up house rules for "full disclosure".

I think he wants two lists. The one that currently exists and a list that only shows the confirmed sunk ships.
