auto-NAV gave me some probs.

auto-NAV gave me some probs.

Post by isferno »

I tried out the demo v3.90 last night and I had some problems:

1. when in auto-NAV, my wingman just crashes on the runway with both "surface" missions.
2. when in auto-NAV, my request for landing gives me the weapons display instead of ILS.
3. I'm notified to land on runway 27, this should be 31. 27 is the takeof runway.
4. (Are there any brakes on the fighter?)

5. In the last mission with the carrier, I had some problems gaining the con back after using the "command" option. Looked again as if the auto pilot wasn't turning if when given a /command/ to elements or self during auto-NAV.

I can't really comment on the flight model accept that learning to fly with keyboard/mouse combination went quite well, when compared with well known games of both the joystick and mouse/keyboard class.

I must say, this game managed to promote space realism without giving the player more to handle then the game fun, which is how it should be.

A nice rounded 8 out of 10 points worth, good job.
