Start.bat Problem

Post by Bing »

Pardon, if this one has been run before: WAW installation creates a Windows shortcut that runs "Start.bat". On my system, the batch file wouldn't go away, it was there every time I quit the game. I redirected the shortcut to "intro.exe." and the problem was solved. What this does is bypass the SSI opening, and the credits, and goes straight to the opening WAW screen. Amounts to a bonus, of sorts, I guess.

You can also cut off the start up screen when it comes up by pressing the enter key on your keyboard. The game then immediately begins...WB

I get DDHELP (direct draw) crashes when I try to hit escape or spacebar during the intro movie - I will try it with the enter key instead, as well as the shortcut to intro.exe method. Thx for the idea's.
