Starshatter Dev. question for everyone.

Post by Pheagey »

Would you rather see v3 up and running if not in full capacity or just wait till its 100% done?
If I open it now it could still be used as a source for news, mods, etc. the part thats slowing me down is the uploading of mods. It can be done manually now but takes time..
So what do you think?

Well, I think it is more important that you present a completed site instead of a crippled site. As long as you can continue running v2 while v3 is in development, I'd say hold off until it is complete.

I am redesigning my site as well (though the server has suffered a serious crash and the site is down), and am aiming to bring the Starshatter Modsite v2.0 online when Starshatter goes gold (an easy enough goal with no definate release date ;-) )

Manually meaning via FTP? That sounds fine.
@TheDeadlyShoe> Unless, say, you could make black holes at will.
@Razeam> I can do that but I don't want to.
