It's a great read, like The Longest Day it's a good focus on how the people felt and reacted to events that occured at the time. It's not a detailed recreation of the battle by any stretch of the imagination, but it's easy to read.

The Road to Arnhem: A Screaming Eagle in Holland was good as well, nice to see an American perspective on it, but yes it finally eventuated into Monty bashing. Which is a shame as everyone focuses on how it failed, but it came close to succeeding imagine if they pulled it off, it would of been the most successful operation of the war.
