Any different rules for Across the Dnepr?

Korsun Pocket is a the second game using the award winning SSG Decisive Battles game engine. Korsun Pocket recreates the desperate German attempt to escape encirclement on the Russian Front early in 1944. The battle is a tense and exciting struggle, with neither side having a decisive advantage, as the Russians struggle to form the pocket, then try to resist successive German rescue efforts and last ditch attempts at breakout.

Any different rules for Across the Dnepr?

Post by RPK »

I am new to KP and AtD, I was wondering where I could find any rule differences if any? I noticed this at the AtD features list "Special rules for Soviet entrenchment". Was wondering what these rules are and if there are any others?

AtD follows the KP v1.10+ rules set. There are some design specifics that make AtD different.

Whether a unit is allowed to entrech or not is set by the scenario designer in the editor. For AtD most Soviet units cannot entrench. That is the big change from almost every other scenario. Its a change in the capabilities given to an army; more a feature of AtD than a rule change.

Do note the turn time scale difference.
