Yes, you can! I've tried it in everything from 1024x768 to 1600x1280 and had no problems...

The game is hardwired to display a 800x600 screen. No matter what your desktop is the game will always be 800x600.

Roger that, you get 800 x 600. I'm running 1280 x 1024 and no way is the game at that resolution.
