New PBEM Tournament Scenario!

Hi Guys..

We, over at Run5, have recently announced a new PBEM Tournament based upon a brank spanking new scenario titled - "Rommel - Master of Battle".

This tournament is unique in that we are seeking to start the Tournament on a level playing field - no one will have played this scenario before! Its a new scenario developed by JSS and myself specifically for the purpose of this Tournament. The scenario will NOT be released until the Tournament commences - so that no one is able to get any battlefield experiance - and that all Tournament players start off on T Day at the same place - that is no one will be familiar with the scenario (except JSS and myself - but I will be an easy beat anyway).

The Tournament is a fictional battle based upon historical german and soviet forces around the area of Starlingrad. More info about the scenario/battle can be found over at the Run5 WebSite including a copy of the map and a briefing for each side. Head over to the Run5 site, select the link to Discussion and then enter the PBEM Forums for more information and discussion.

We are hoping to kick this Tournament off as a 64 player Tournament - we welcome veteran and new players alike.. remember - even newbies will have fun with this one and they stand a good chance of progressing through the Tourament given that no one else will have played this scenario before - so some of the 'battle advantage' that veteran players have from knowing the ins and outs of the TAO and KP scenarios wont exist in this one!
