Old starshatter.com boards were better...

Post by neveS »

Ok, even though this post is good for nothing, just thought I'd state it anyway. I liked the original starshatter forums hosted on milos starshatter.com site better.
That is all.

Any particular reason why?

I had trouble figuring out what was and was not new (posts since last visit) on the old forums so I didn't both much with them. Similarly finding something specific (like annoucements) required more than a little manual searching - wasting valuable time.

Two reasons mostly
1) the old board was more active in terms of new posts/replies.
2) there are so many threads there that have just died do to the lack of them being carried over here.

I wouldn't say the old boards were more active... Sometimes a couple days would go by with no posts, and then others with ten in 12 hours...

Try waaay back when there were like,5 people moding Ss....old skool indeed...

I think it would look better here if the style could be changed to match Ss's theme...

I know matrix's privacy policy is cool, and they have some great titles. But I would prefer to log in manually than have suspicious files appear on my windows dir. I'm no netgeek si I'm a little sensitive about this kind of thing due to some grisly recent experiences. I agree with Pheagey about the look of the site it's no longer like logging on to Mission Hq.
