How does the distribution of the ammunition of smoke work?

SPWaW is a tactical squad-level World War II game on single platoon or up to an entire battalion through Europe and the Pacific (1939 to 1945).

How does the distribution of the ammunition of smoke work?

Post by xafemo »

Hello!
How does the distribution of the ammunition of smoke work?
In the generator of battles, still with the option of enabled limited ammunition, the ammunition of smoke seems to continue being aleatory for the units that have it.
Thank you for your answers.

very good question!
I think smoke is abstractly related to the slot1 weapon (gun for tanks,..rifles for infantry ect.) although it doesn´t actually has something to do with them ammo load-wise.
Generally if a unit looses its slot1 weapon then it strangely also looses its smoke throwing capability. Example: Main gun (slot1) weapon destroyed in combat and crew bails out. This bailed out crew also has as its tank no slot1 weapon anymore (in this case mostly "miscellanous small arms") means it also has lost its anyway annoying smoke throwing ability. (stone old topic)

I think you actually wanted to know what are the base loads of smoke for all the different nationalities?
