A US pilot demonstrating the proper use of the new super-absorbant incontinence pads issued to long distance fliers from mid 1943. This replaced the "empty beer bottle and a length of rubber hose" technique that had been pioneered by US aviators in WWI.

I hesitated between :

1/ Captain Marion E. Carl, first Marine Ace in WWII
and
2/ the Black sheep J. Bolt, Ace in both WWI and Korea.

But i think Subchaser is rght :)
