Game will not run after installing patch

I picked up the game recently and installed it...
Waited to download the 1.1 and 1.11 patches.
Tried to play the game, and I imediately get the XP error dialog leting me know that Korsun.exe has crashed.

I have XP Pro, GForce3, P3-700, DX 9b, and the nvidia 53.03 driver.
the DXdiag passed fine.

I unintall all, and remove leftover files.
I reinstall the 1.0 from the disk, and the program runs.

I reinstall the patches, and the game will not run at all.
The only odditty on installing the patch is the request to overwrite the arial.ttf font file.

Any idea how to get this thing to run as 1.1 or 1.11?

There is an issue with the copy protection for the game that is the likely cause of this issue. There is a copy protection fix patch located on this site at http://www.matrixgames.com/support/downloads-kp.asp

I am in the same boat, but the patch did not work. I am running XP - Build 2600xpsp2.2.030442-1663 - SP1 - all hot fixes applied as of 3-24-04. The message is "korsun.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." The data on the error is:

AppName: korsun.exe AppVer: 1.0.0.1 ModName: korsun.exe
ModVer: 1.0.0.1 Offset: 0000a042

Any ideas Matrix? The dump is binary...do I need to send the file?

Never mind my last post. The patch for 1-22-04 located at:

fixed the problem. The game now loads and runs...

I am haing the same problem but when I click on the link IE can't find it. Please help.

Look at the top of this screen

Click on Downloads

Then find the picture of the Korsun Pocket box and click on that.
