Update from the Head Historian

Matrix Games and Simulations Canada combine and completely remake two classic NATO vs. Warsaw Pact wargames into a new classic. Based on the original wargames “Main Battle Tank: North Germany” and “Main Battle Tank: Central Germany”, Flashpoint Germany is a new grand tactical wargame of modern combat. Every aspect of modern grand tactical warfare is included, from advanced armor, air and helicopters to chemical and tactical nuclear weapons. Step into the most dangerous war.. . that never was.

Update from the Head Historian

Post by Greyshaft »

Your Head Historian (Greyshaft) finished the last of the scenario storylines this morning and sent them off for OOB tweaking. Unfortunately our Chief Tweaker (Sabre21) is moving house and won't be back on line till second week of June. He has already tweaked about twelve scenarios and passed them across to the Blender Boss (Catgh) who is putting it all together for submission to the [&o]Powers-that-Be (Robert & Bart).

Stay tuned.

Will I, as a user, be able to define and name the units operating in each scenario? Seeing as how I was a tanker serving in Germany during the period of Flashpoint Germany, I would be interested in trying my hand at deploying myself and the rest of 1Bgd/1AD!

Renaming units

Post by Greyshaft »

Yes, you can rename the units in each scenario. They must be unique names up to 32 characters long. This also applies to the scenario generator.
