I would expect that the biplane is Russian, as they provided quite of bit of material to the Chinese (both Nationalists and Communists).
So much WitP and so little time to play.... :-(

Very probably it is a Polikarpov I-153.
It might be an I-15bis, but I doubt they were still in active service in China when the Oscar began operations.
The former has a seagull upper wing and retractable landing gear, the latter straight wing and fixed gear: I don't think the movie is clear enough to distinguish the right model.
Anyway it's a great little movie, thank you for posting it here, Brady.

NP, Thought you all might enjoy it, stuff like this is ard to come by; I beleave it is a I-153 as well.
