Steel Panthers III

I have just bought Steel Panthers III and found out that I need DOS 6.22 or higher, is there a way to upgrade mine if so can a person with little knowledge of computers install it?

If you have Windows 95 or later than you have the later version of DOS. Although it is stripped down, it should run SP3.

I have Win98 and on my MS-DOS screen it says 1.63 or 1.62 some thing like that. Anything I can do about that and how to change it?
