Getting started

Post by Popeye USN »

Ex-USN Commander and now a teacher off for the summer. Just started playing the game and would prefer a human opponent. How do you play via e-mail? How long does each turn take? You play through a web this one, or just over the net? Etc. Etc. I'm a vet of Viet Nam and Desert Storm I, no neat quotes...it was not a quotable experience. Thanks in advance.
If you can read this, thank a teacher;
If it's in English, thank a veteran.

I'll play ya......I like to do a turn a day but it doesn't always happen. I'll play either side....though I usually like the Allies.

Rogue : I'll play you if it won't interfere with WitP.

By 'not inerfere with WitP' do you mean stop the UV game when it comes out?

We haven't played before Rogue and when WitP ccomes out I will still continue the UV game unless you say otherwise. UV game tuens are easy to turn out. I'm not sure how many WitP games anyone person can handle.

I'll take Japan of course. 120%/100% commitment. Sub doctrine off. Any other preferences?

I like to do at least a turn a day. I work two jobs on Wednesdays so, I may not get one to you on those days and I may miss a day here or there.

send away if ya want......[:)]

besides, I've learned some things from Wobbly and am ready to try again. I was still in AI mode when we started our game.
