Can't see the Cursor

Post by Nigel Heppenstall »

Curse my middle-aged eyes!

I find it very hard to see the wee black move/probe/attack cursor. Particularly at night (in the game - of course) when it's a tiny black thing moving over a dark background. Have I missed something stupendously obvious? (that would fit with a pattern in my life).

Or should I simply learn to live with my disability?

thanks for any assistance>

I agree that depending on the color of the terrain underneath, it does happen that the cursor is somewhat more difficult to see. I would not say it is hard to see though and it does not bother me, but my eyes are young so that can make a difference...

I play HTTR with the RDOA textures. They are much higher contrast and generally easier on the eyes. You might give that a try.

Download a zip at the Panther site and place two files in your graphics directory. Easy.

Mark,

That works a treat - it is much clearer and looks more like a real map too.

Many thanks.
