Note that there are NO Port hits, NO Port Supply Hits. Also the heading says Air Attack on
Rockhampton and not Port attack. Does anyone have a fix for this problem? I am running out
of time here.

BTW, one turn I tried an Airfield attack with the same results. [&:][:@]

I've seen the same problem... though I was playing as IJN. I don't think it's a bug though. When I eventually captured the base it was pretty badly beat up.

Do you have troops at the base as well?

If so this is a bug that was recently found and fixed in WitP.

I do have troops there. Does that mean I have to move them out? Bummer. [:@]
I just got a turn back, a Naval Bombardment scored hits on airbase and port, but
my CV based aircraft hit only troops. I'll move them out and see what happens.

It was a bug that was only recently discovered (1-2 weeks ago). If your troops arent doing any good then I would withdraw them until you can get critical mass to take the base back.

Its more important to close down the airbase and kill his shipping than anything else at this stage. If you can keep up the pressure (easily done with your bomber force) then he will never be able to use the base effectively and will alway shave to have his CV's in the area to protect his shipping. If he is doing that then he must be vulnerable elsewhere.

I just had a game where I lost Lunganville, but noticed that Lunga was poorly defended, so instead of taking Luganville back I took Lunga. Those troops will now stave on Luganville, and I now have a base in bombing range of Rabaul.

They are marching now. All troops are out except one HQ unit that must have spent an all nighter in one of the Rockhampton bars, they are really fatigued and are taking a long time getting out of the hex. [:D] ( It is an Aussie HQ of course. [:'(] )
