A Killing Force!

Post by Wild Bill »

Now THIS is the kind of unit you don't want to lose in a Mega Campaign. This is a HQ unit from Company B, 502nd, surviving under hard times.

I'm just finishing one of my personal favorite battles, Stuck in the Zonche (Forest). It is the true sage of 2nd Lt Wiezerbowski's platoon cut off during the battle of Market Garden.

Rescuing trapped units is one of my favorite types of scenarios, especially when based on history. Its another one of those gripping fights in Mega Campaign Screaming Eagles!

Good to see you back on line Bill. You been enjoying things?

That pic might be too big to attach here. There is a 200kb limit and that's not a lot of picture.

Hey big Jim! Still around. Gaming and you fine gentlemen are in my blood. I miss the warring brood, both on the computer and on the forum.

Let the "games" begin!

Understood about the pic. I still enjoy that Killer HQ unit! They are some mean mothers.

Its a lesson for all MC players. Preserving your best units will greatly increase your ability to win. Sadly, not always the same platoon is present.

That is both a plus and a minus. Sometimes your best guys need a break.

You could be "gamey" and use you lesser experienced units as fodder but that can also come back to haunt you.

Train your guys. Teach them how to fight, much as the lioness teaches her cubs to hunt.

They'll get tougher, meaner and much more capable of dealing with the scenarios as they sometimes get progressively harder. The closer you get to Berlin, the meaner those Germans get!

So, can anyone get this picture to download? I just get a little javascript box that says "This image has been downloaded 19 times" - but no picture.

Just curious,

P.
