Ceasefire in effect

Post by Les_the_Sarge_9_1 »

Ok it is morning, I have checked for any potential PMs, I am away from home, so I will not have immediate access to any potential emails between 11:00 and this actual moment (sat morning).

As it currently stands, it appears a lot has been said, by a lot of persons, to a lot of persons, and not always directly involving me (ie I was not having the conversations in all cases).

I have not had any direct communications with either Vic or David Heath at this point.

As I am here, it is clear I realise the ban is lifted.

Thank you David.....sincerely.

I could erase numerous posts posted by myself, willingly, but I have not been asked to do so, nor has it been as yet made to look like I should, as yet.
That may change. But until then, I will agree to consider the current state of affairs to be in a cease fire mode.

I mention it often, but I do so yet again to ensure it is stated directly in connection with the current situation.
I am not in my mind special, I have never seen myself as special, it is a perception claimed only by those wishing to imply I have said as such. That is there doing, and I don't hold myself accountable for the thoughts of others.

I DO hold others accountable for THEIR actions though. I always have, and I always will.
When the other guy shoots HIS foot, it is HIS injury, not mine.

I deal with my own big mouth, and I am able to realise I have one.
I am not responsible though, for protecting another, if they are capable of being a big mouth as I am.
Let everyone deal with their own character flaws, on their own time.

This whole sorry mess was initiated by another's comments. I am not now, nor will I ever wish to be, interested in intentional deliberate, confrontational postings.
I just don't see any gain from it.
But I am an aries in sooooo many ways.
And I speak my mind, openly, honestly, bluntly and straight from the hip.
I am not always right, but their is never any malice in my intent.

If I have said ANYthing that has given offense, the correct response is to just tell me so.
An attack though, is not the way to gain any useful response from me.
I am human, and by nature, when intentionally and deliberately attacked, yes I will not only defend myself, but I don't usually just respond in kind. No that is not my style.
I tend to respond fully, completely, and totally.

You can tell when I am angry, there is zero level of chance in mistaking that, I would think.

This has NOT been an apology, I want that clear. I am merely seeking and allowing a ceasefire.

I recognise there are people out there that sufficiently hate me, to actually bend my words and just plain disagree with me in the best manner possible to inflict the most damage possible.
To those people I offer a ceasefire. Use it or throw it away, your choice.

I can be a useful, valuable, handy, hardworking memeber of a forum, but there is not lukewarm in me. It's an all or nothing prospect. I never go where I am not welcome.

I thank all of those that put out the effort to get me back here, and in a capacity to post this.
I don't expect to always agree with others, even those I often call friends.
But I do prefer to respect my fellow members.
To claim anything else, is to just engage in listening to the sound of one's own voice, and not what I am actually saying.

Ok, all that said, I am NOT planning on being around much for a batch of days. Nothing connected with this event at all. A buddy merely asked me to visit (cooincidences seem to happen in my life a lot eh).
I am not at home, and the plan while here, will be to engage in a significant sum of gaming, and the watching of anime (a pet passion of myself and my buddy).
So my posts will be largely infrequent here or anywhere.
I just won't have the time.
Thus, any PMs or emails might go unanswered for long spans this upcoming week and a bit (I am out of my place till the 27th).

It is now 9:45 in the morning my location. I am outta here till whenever.
I LIKE that my life bothers them,
Why should I be the only one bothered by it eh.

The best way to clear the air is to stop farting.

You really owe it to yourself to read what "Wild Bill Hickock" writes elsewhere on it....

the games people play.

Ouch!!! That came out of the blue. Actually, CCB, I've been thinking of doing that for a long long time. I designed that module when VASSAL first came out but now that the program keeps mutating (for the better I guess) I'm not so sure that it is compatable with the newest version. I'll dust it off and check it out. If nothing else, I can send you the work that I've completed if you want to mess around with it. Just a map and counters. No charts or anything else.

Priceless.

You know you could apologize for your outburst, rather than to your adversary. After all, the man who reinstated you felt it was uncalled for. You don't seem to have gotten that part of the message.

Who cares? This is supposed to be for fun here. When it starts to turn ugly, time to leave.

Apparently, you care. If you didn't, then when respond?

What does 'then when respond' mean?

Typo: try, 'then why respond?'
