Quite a few folks bought this game at Origins and it generated excitement whenever it was shown. For my money, it's the next Wing Commander, but even better in many ways. I expect traffic here will pick up somewhat and then a great deal as we move to a wider release once the team returns from the convention.

How wide do you mean? Worldwide? ETA to Europe and Finland?
You know what they say, don't you? About how us MechWarriors are the modern knights, how warfare has become civilized now that we have to abide by conventions and rules of war. Don't believe it.

I gather there will be a downloadable release, so I guess the only thing holding that back is localization.

I think us Beta testers got shunted aside by QA. Pah! [;)]

No, Matti, that's just the free demo. When you purchase the full 4.0.0 version through the Matrix web site, you can choose to receive it by downloading it, or by having them mail you a CD.

What is "Wing Commander: A Shattered Galaxy" and who is going to be doing the announcing? Is this somehow related to Nexon's game Shattered Galaxy?

How I pay it? Is cash on delivery supported if I order CD? You know, you order something and when it arrives to post office, you get it by paying it and money is delivered to seller.

So, what is the official word on the release date? The last I heard it would be early this week?
