Editor Question

Post by Black Cat »

Anyone know what the values " sunk " mean in the Editor when you pull up a specific ship ? The number varies from 9 to 0 in the different CV`s alone.

Tried a search but much of previous early UV topics are gone with crash......[:(]

Black Cat,

From what I've been able to figure out Sunk is when that ship was sunk historically:

0 = never sunk
1 = sunk Jan 42
2 = sunk Feb 42

and so on.

I'm not sure if it has any effect in UV. From the WitP editor notes any scenario which starts after the sunk date and that ship will not appear in that scenario.

Thanks Tanjman, I`m trying to figure out if it means anything in the CRT or effects what happens when ships are hit. I think a lot of stuff is hardcoded including some CRT stuff and ship hits, whic accounts for the Wasp/Hornet being so easy to sink.

Too bad there is so little support information for the Editor from Matrix.....[&:]
