What are you giving up to buy WITP??

Post by diesel7013 »

With WITP coming out - as well as Battles of Normandy - what are you guys having to give up to spend all this money this summer??

Personally, I'm having to give up beer and hookers as well as cut down on my crack habit ( I have an addictive personality and my therapist says I should trade one habit for another !! )

It is not the money, imo they are realy not that expensive, it is the time, I am trying to get all my summer home improvement prodjects finished before it is released, or at lest the big pain in the but ones, and I am about their, that way I will be able to get lost in it and not be distracted by Painting window washing, plumbing, wireing ect.[:)]

Witp is going to save you money!

Once you start playing Witp you won't have time to spend money on other stuff.

Besides it's not football season yet!!!

I don't plan on giving up anything but $70. This is a hobby and not a lifestyle. I enjoy playing wargames immensely but I als need to pay bills, eat, etc Oh, yeah , I am sure that i will need to but other war games too, like WiR[:D]

Hmmm, it's raining all the time, so no need to give up any sun :)

-> give up sleep
-> give up diapers for the baby (naaah, just kidding)
-> give up ... hopefully nothing, just have to postpone some things.

BTW, WitP is a bargain, I think Pacwar cost around 70usd when it came out over a decade ago, original (I mean original Apple II) WiR was around 80usd. So you can imagine what that money is today (and compared to my income at that time). IT'S CHEAP!

I don't have to pay for it, it all goes on my credit card. Once I max out I'll fake my death and assume a new identity. Capitalism is good!
