Equipment levels

Going through the unit estabs of the 21st Independent Parachute Company. The 21st Independent Parachute Company platoons have 62 men each - roughly the size of two regular platoons - but only have the heavy equipment (i.e. 3 Brens, 1 2" mortar etc) associated with a regular 30-man platoon. Are their equipment levels accurate (I have no idea)? Interested in any comments.

yes, they were sent in battle first to secure the DZ or LZ so they were only very lightly equipped, though they were the better trained of all that dropped on Arnhem.
