Read another thread that said something like 30 or so hours.

Good luck.
My e-troops don't unload OVER THE BEACH anymore, see:

1024*466 = 477184

477184/(let's say speed is 5.5)5,632 = 84727 seconds = about 23 or 24 hours

Probably can eek out 7-8KB with good quality dial-up connection....With that you're in for a 17-18 hr wait. Still faster than any other way to get it.....

And whatever you do, don't let anyone pick up a phone on that line if you don't have a dedicated line. Happened to me once.

Isn't that the truth? I remember the days of 300 baud modems where you had to put the phone into the acustic cups ... someone would always kill your connection because they needed the phone.

Don't forget to disable call waiting too!

And not to worry too much. If you get disconnected, you should be able to resume the download where you left off, not have to start all over. But then, you have to watch it to detect the disconnect.......

Also anyone doing dialup would do well to place a rope or a good sized rubberband around the phone (so that it's difficult to lift) to remind others not to use it. It might also save yourself from forgetting and using it on instinct.
