IronDuke,

D'oh. Well, that's not unusual given how today has gone. Actually, I'm glad that one's done already. We gave them the final go ahead on the UK / Euro stores as well, I'm just waiting for those to update.

I can imagine it's been quite hectic and then some. Thanks for hanging around and posting updates. They certainly help, even if you can't give the green light yet. Getting back to some proper work on Battlefields will probably feel like a holiday, won't it?

Cheers,
John.

Any updated info on the UK site Erik? I vowed to wait for the 15 minutes, and then another, and then another... etc! [;)] I would gladly stay up all night but I don't it's a viable excuse for falling asleep at work tomorrow (0100 here atm).

AlbA,

It's literally "any minute". Right now, I'm not sure why it's not up yet, as all green lights are set here. Probably just taking them a bit of time to flush out the caches and get it on the public page.

Looks like the Euro store is indeed up now, just waiting for the UK store to refresh at this point.

Ahh. Strange. It was up. I tried to order. It borked --- rinse and repeat x 2 and now it's off the UK Store again!

Nevermind. I'll pretend to do something else for 5 minutes then try again!

Erik,
Everything looks good. Very strong download rate etc. The only thing I noticed was that the credit card screen came prepopulated with some company's address in the billing field, although no credit card details were there. Also, the game price jumped by several pounds after selecting it as some taxes were added. I'm sure the taxes are valid, etc, (and the game's worth every penny) but might be an idea to include them on the front screen if possible (not sure if you even have control over this) to allow people to see the complete cost before they go to pay.

Cheers, and thanks for the support.

John.

John,

What company name was in the field? Has anyone else seen this?

I'll check on the tax issue, not sure if there's another way to do this but I agree it would be nice.

Still can't complete an order. Some info for you Erik to pass on to DR: I can't enter a "Valid From" date for 2004. Drop down box only goes up to 2003.

Yours Tired and frustrated..

Eric,
I applied again, and this time it holds my details instead. I didn't need to complete my e-mail address originally so I'm guessing it recognises who's logged on when they are a Matrix member and takes details from Matrix records. It didn't retain my credit card details, though, (number etc) just the billing address, so there may not be too serious a security issue here, if at all. It'd be interesting to know what other UK users have seen. Maybe it holds my billing address and only displays when I log into the store? I'll be sure to check my credit card statement online in the morning. [;)]

John.

Gents,

Sorry about this, thanks for the reports. I've already sent them to DR and they have a tech who is working with me. The Euro store appears to be the only remaining problem, though he thought it was fully updated a minute ago. [:(]

Beppi, Alba,

We can't duplicate your issues here running test orders through the Euro store. Can you please try again and see if it was a problem caused during the update process? Thanks.

Please note the store alerts you to VAT as you're ordering and also can provide a VAT receipt at the end.

Beppi, Alba,

It looks like we may have to wait until Monday/Tuesday for DR to have enough staff to add a 2004 in that drop-down list for Solo/Switch cards. Can't believe this was missed, but there it is. I'm working on seeing if I can get an alternate method for you to order. If you have alternate cards that don't use that category, please feel free to try them.

Thanks for trying Erik. Since I won't be able to bring myself to browse the forums 'til "Monday/Tuesday", I hope you all have fun playing and happy July 4th for those to whom it matters!

Without WitP. Without sleep. Without a job come a few hours probably! [;)]
