Like the music written for this game...not overwhelming and given the right timing, adds to combat - which get's pretty intense. I noticed in the credits: propellerheads. Milo, Is the Dr. using Reason?

I'm holding my own, but getting spanked a little. Sometimes I wonder if my wingman really cares about me...

I would say no. [:D]

Sort of. Mary composed the music on a Yamaha digital piano, and then we transferred the MIDI files onto my workstation to arrange them in Reason. We shared the editing and arranging duties, with Mary correcting my poor harmonic choices as necessary. She actually did all of the initial composition in about five hours, but it took almost twice that to master the final tracks.

She says "Thanks" by the way!

Deadly,

Ha! Been there! I've started changing my flight leadership a little. When we're outnumbered, I tell my wingman to Cover Me! Otherwise, I can't guarantee he'll watch my six very well. B4, I'd assign him the closest target or tell him to break and attack, assuming he'd take the closest. I try and dispatch one or two of the others with a medium range missle making it more like 2:1 for me. Dodging their missles at range is easy. When you get into the fur ball and you're close range, its' real hard to hit the decoy button and break hard anywhere b4 you're hit.

I wonder in the mess of combat that he gets separated by too great a distance, and so after the fight is done and you need to continue the mission, he simply can't find you?

John,

Wow, you do alot of everything! Tell Mary she's welcome and I appreciate her creativity, 5 hours is quite amazing.

Your wingmen do care, provided they are in the right spot :)

I was just flying patrol and at Nav 3 (after a small scruff at Nav 2, which as usual trashed half my ship systems) we run into 4 Viper's and 2 Cobra's (I think, 4 fighters, 2 strike fighters). I nail a Cobra and when I turn around here's my wingman playing loop-the-loop with ALL 4 Vipers (who were now flying on top of each other) and the Cobra, which was the only enemy getting off decent shots.

They kept it up until all the enemy were destroyed, and I decided that we should all return to base before two more Falcons were scratched off the ready list :)

I love the music too, great stuff, really fits the scene!

The music is superb. Not only does it stand up very well on it's own account, but I can't recall a game in which the music has fitted in so seamlessly, enhancing the atmosphere without becoming overpowering or annoying.

Excellent job.
