First scenario my results.

Post by wodin »

Ive just played the tutorial.

I set up as the plan was laid out and then semi improvised from there on in.

My result was a marginal victory.

Axis points 38, killed 98 of some of the hardest sons of b##ch's every to set para into the western front, destroyed 28 AFV's most men got out before the brew up but sadly some graves were dug and one gun was shattered but crew survived.

Allies 73 points, the body count was 261 confirmed infantry dead, we destroyed 3 afvs with some very brave work by the para's one of whom charged a fortified position killing 10 enemy soldiers and whilst mortally wounded planted a satchel charge which destroyed the afv and all crew, I have put him in for a VC. Also 25 guns were destroyed by some great work by our gunners. All together 2 enemy unit were wiped out and 7 units surrenderd. Another brave para single handedly took the surrender of an enemy garrision to quote......." well sir I was a bit knackered like, but after I ad a brew up...thats wat we call a cup of tea sir,.........I realised the lads ad no more suga.........so I was feelin much better an wanted to get the suga for the lads....I knew there would be some in their supplies sir so I thought right Ive ad enuff....so off I went and got some....thats when they all surrenderd sir.....I got the suga too"..............

This shows what fine fighting spirit the British boys have especially when their Tea is under threat. Ive put him in for a MM.

When the game finished it said I had the order delay at realistic but I thought Id set it at none. Also they only blew one bridge I got the first two. The top one was blown. I also sent a coy upto get the third from bottom bridge but the game ended before I got there so I lost some points for not being there at the end.

You did well there mate! The first time I played it I was decisively defeated but then I did follow the instructions in the manual[;)]. How did you find the experience as compared with RDOA?

I followed the instructions as best I could but things moved so fast that I had to improvise.

I find it head and shoulders above RDOA. Vey very happy with my purchase.

Ah well, reason often goes out the windown in the heat of battle - otherwise we wouldn't have so many heroes in real life!

I'm glad you're pleased with your purchase, it's good we're getting more players in the UK, especially if we can all get playing online. [:)]

Keep that up kiddo and we'll have to match you up with Yakstock - bring you down a peg or two[:D]

If you're enjoying it you're doing okay - that's the bottom line really. [:)]

I'm another guy in the UK that's enjoying HTTR enormously. The best Matrix game I have played so far. I've played a couple of scenarios and I rate this the best computer wargame I have played for making you feel like a "General".

All I need to complete the package was a free "Swagger" stick [;)]

I'm glad you are enjoying it Wodin...I'm in the same boat...or foxhole! [:)]
