Number of land mines in a hex

This question is out of curiosity.

How many actual land mines are in a hex when the actual hex description says “Mines(10)”? Does this mean that there are ten individual land mines in the hex?

Yes, and you can jam a lot more than that into one hex if you want.
Retreat is NOT an option.

Buy in purchase and lay them in deployment. I've seen up to 50 in same hex.... that is one mine per yard...

Hi.
You can put a max of 50 mines/barbed wire/dragoonteeth in an hex.
