Do the Axis ever attack Spain & the Rock

Have any of the Playtesters tried conquering Spain and Gibraltar? If so, what was your experience?

Yes Edwin, the Spain Gambit is being tried by some of the playtesters.....I am currently in a game where I tried this option and though it is too soon to tell, it might be a risky move.....for one, you now have opened up new territories which you need to adequately defend against a WA landing and Partisan activity....if you do not defend territories well, partisan activity can cause damage to the rail, resources, and factories which will cost you to repair....so the cost for defending Spain/Portugal/Gibralter might be more than its resources are worth...as the game progresses and the USA and Russians enter the battle, you wish you had those defending units and supplies at your disposal....it's still early however and perhaps figuring out the right time to invade Spain , if at all, may be more important than realized
