Los Angeles and San Diego

Post by Montbrun »

I have to say, I'm not seeing alot of the problems that other people are seeing. One problem that I am seeing is that air units stationed in Los Angeles and San Diego ONLY are taking operational losses for no apparent reason, and not repairing the planes. I'm playing the Grand Campaign scenario.....

As it was mentioned elsewhere, when the air group flies it takes operational losess. It is normal, that some planes can get damaged from normal usage. Sometimes one plane gets repaired and other goes to hangar for maintenance, that may be the case. Also look whether they accept reinforcements. In other case they may just simply count down to zero[:D]

Don't know how far into the game you are but it sounds like aircraft may not be repaired due to lack of aviation support at the bases.

Yea, was about to say that. I made the DUMB mistake of moving my base force units north to SF because they were earmarked for "Central Pacific" not "West Coast". Well that left me with NO base forces at LA or San Diego!! And I finally realized when my air units there started suffering ops losses and never got repaired!

DUH!!
