Release date?

Post by Cheesehead »

Any news on a release date? End of summer was the last I heard. Is this still on target?

End of summer was the last I heard

I am not in a position to give out release dates for Matrix Games, but if August is "end of summer" it won't be "end of summer".

I generally like Matrix's attitude of "when its done".

Marrying themselves to a release date and then releasing an incomplete product just to meet the date is a heck of a lot more annoying than not having it at all.

IIRC, Electronics Boutique site had it with an 8/19/04 release date. Of course, they are not always right. But we can hope, eh? [8D]

Matrix has stated that EiA will not be released at EB. Will WaW be direct only as well? (Which is fine by me)

i couldn't find the post in the WitP folder, but David Heath has said ALL Matrix titles will be available for direct download, and the ONLY title they are considering (ie. no decision yet) for retail distribution (storeshelves) is GGWAW.
