Graphics glitch?

Post by Cmdrcain »

Ok my first bug in playing:

At a point in last turn played, when a Combat report should have poped up to be displayed, instead only the scrolling cursor for what should been text showed, no report screen showed, Occured in every aspect where a combat report would been displayed.

Also I noticed where clouds were the background behind the clouds became black squares ao I had clouds over black squares all over.

I'd Note each time a combat occured and a report should have displayed but I only saw the Scrolling button for that screen showing over the game screen, I was able to get out and game continue by hitting ESC.

This PC setup uses an Abit It7-Max 2 Motherboard, 32MB All in wonder Radeon (7200 chip) agp 4x card in AGP slot for video.

Looks like a graphics glitch occured each time the combat report would have been displayed.
Noise? What Noise? It's sooooo quiet and Peaceful!

32mb video underpowered a bit? Have to dig up game specs again... don't recall for sure.

I would check your graphics drivers though. Just go through the standard troubleshooting... Another thing might be to check either the card for overclocking or your graphics refresh rate to ensure it's not too high. That assumes of course WiTP takes your setting and doesn't default to a standard 65htz...

Just ideas though... hope they help.

Go and turn your hardware acceleration down one notch, or even to none. Seems to be solving a lot of problems with older cards.

32 mg shouldn't be underpowered should it?

One wouldn't think 32mb would be under powered but like always when you WANT to find the specs for the game you cant find them. [:D]
