Can PC's and PG's be put in the auto convoy system?

I don't know if this question has been asked yet (I read the forum almost every day and haven't seen this topic).

But, I haven't been able to put PC's and PG's into the auto convoy system. I can get MSW's and DD's in there just fine. But, I'd like to use the DD's on manual convoys. PG's and PC's are perfect for the auto convoy system. I don't like messing with the little craft that much, and if they were in the auto convoy system, they'd be getting used a lot more.

Maybe one of the testers knows if they just aren't allowed in the pool or not. If they aren't currently allowed, I'd hope the next patch would change this. (Or someone can explain the reasoning behind not letting them in.)

Yeah, it too think it strange that I have a bunch of these little UK corvettes that were famous for their convoy service, and I cannot include them in the auto convoy system.

Another question...I haven't seen any of the US PF frigates or their UK equivalents in the game...or are they just redesignated as PC's and PG's? They were essentially a British designed DE but made in the US for both navies and, IIRC, had a steam plant and not diesel.

I think PC's and PG's being used by the auto-convoy system was being looked at as a future patch item.

Memory serves, they got pulled out due to their limited range causing fuel problems.

The fuel problem cannot be worse than including MSW as escorts in auto-convoy. And you can include PCs, but not PGs, in Japanese auto-convoys, despite the PGs having slightly greater range than the PCs. I have previously raised the issue of the corvettes, and got the impression from Ron that a late change excepted them by accident not design. Hopefully it will be corrected in due course.

Will they not automatically slurp some fuel from the merchants they're escorting if their furl runs low?

I posted the bit about Flower class corvettes in the OOB section and was told they would be added to auto-convoy.
