Ongoing Computer Crashes

I continue to have my computer crash even after the patches and renaming sound and video files. It crashes and shuts down during the game or when I am saving or ending the turn. This is now happening with all 5 games. Anyone else having this problem? Any ideas? I'm wondering if I need to suspend games until new fixes. Email ircsb@yahoo if you have any thoughts.

you know this sounds more like a hardware problem to me.... check to make sure all of your fans are running properly.. usually when a machine shuts itself down or reboots/crashes, its indicative of a cooling problem... these machines are now smart enough to shut down when the temp goes over a certain threshhold.

When it shuts down the computer it really sounds like a heat problem.
When you switch on again, do you have any bios error messages ?
