Zolon Ships!

Post by whammo11224 »

Anyone know how to take one out? One laser barrage and I'm done!

Thanks

I tried staying away from the front, but they swing around so fast I can't get away.

I'm referring to the first mission of the fourth campaign, where there are two of them plus a whole slew of fighters.

Once they take out the Counselor Starship, I'm toast.

Thanks

So what are Zolons? Another faction who puts their spoon to Alliance's and Hegemony's soap?
You know what they say, don't you? About how us MechWarriors are the modern knights, how warfare has become civilized now that we have to abide by conventions and rules of war. Don't believe it.

Oh, that mission, only way out of that one is a loss. Run to another corner of the world.

The Zolon ships aren't indestructible, they're just really, really tough. Nevertheless, you will not be able to save the consular ship. It's a plot point like the loss of the Titan in campaign three.

That explains a lot. I was wondering how the heck it blew up right after I'd used it and killed all the enemies in the sector, lol.
I like guns. Yeah, that is the best I can come up with...

Sounds much like Elite's Thargoids. But I want to know more!

By the way, I never encountered any Thargoids in Elite (PC version) or in Frontier (also PC version)
