Lots of questions

1. How do i use a turret on a fighter? I noticed some of the heavier fighters have turrets as their 2nd primary weapon

2. Where do i find weapon stats/descriptions?

3. Where can i get more missions?

4. How elaborate can multiplayer be? Do i just run canned missions or can i run a variant of the dynamic campaign cooperatively (which would RULE)

1. It's automatic. Can't man it....sorry.

2. There's no hard stats around, unfortunately

3. No clearinghouse as of yet.

4. Ah, no, no coop, or mp dynamic campaigns, sorry [&:]

jeez negative answers aplenty [:(]

Although ... setting up a dynamic campaign that generates MP missions seems plausible on the surface.

On the other hand,you can get pretty much as elaborate as you want in the context of one mission in MP. It might be a strain and I doubt it's ever been tested, but theoretically you could have battles between entire star systems, each with several space regions and perhaps a ground region or two.

Re: Dynamic campaigns.

Since milo generates missions based on success/fail of events, it seems like a "manual" mission generator is possible.. either on his end, or from a mod.. Similiar to how the il2 sturmovik forgotten battles generators work..


Additional questions:

How do i add/change sound effects? I'd like to add a bunch more sfx to existing events (Missile launched, responses from wingmen/etc)

Any good coop missions out there?

Wait.. in reading you response.. No coop?

Can't you setup ai vs. player missions?

Co-op yes, but only in single MP missions, no co-op dynamic campaigns.

And another:

I'm supposed to blow up foothill base.


I go to foothill base and target it, it appears to target some ground between 2 runways.

I launch all of my agm missiles and nothing happens.


I empty guns into it, again nothing happens.


What am i supposed to shoot?

Also there seems to be an autonav bug if you hit o on this mission as soon as you leave the station, and then turn it on when you get to the planet. It gets out of synch.

Take out the reactor first. Seems to shield the base.

I did that.. all that's left are 2 city blocks and the mysterious patch of grass/runway i need to shoot..

I think it takes several missions to take out the base
...and beware when you do, if youre not more than 40km away, you will die in the ensuing explosion
I think that the latter is being addressed in the patch,however

As I remember from beta version 3.8.something, powerplant must be left intact. Is this changed?
