Frag figured out the problem Friday night, I have already updated the databases and tested.
Thanks to both you and Bradley7775 for your help in pointing out and resolving this issue

There is another instance of this at Tugeguaroa (sp?) in the north east of Luzon, the hex SW of Aparri. It is an AF on a coastal hex, TFs "disappear" into it.

Might want to check out that base SW of Aparri - the one which starts with a T. I lost a TF there. Well, not really lost it. I could find it by searching the all TFs screen. Additionally had I accidentally clicked in the hex it would have shown up. The TF was scheduled to bombard Naga. AFAIK its course would not have taken it to that hex which was why I was extremely puzzled when I could not find it.

Lotta strange things happen in that area - the Takeo-Aparri-Naha triangle.
