Bugs and Questions

Post by Chris21wen »

[&:]
The tutorial and manual talk about a turn length from 1 to 7 days plus continuous play.
I've only got 1 -3 and continuous. When playing the tutorial it only ever seems to play in continuous mode. F9 does work however.

When accessing any Individual Allied ship in the tutorial the game bombs out to the desktop with no error messages. Is the the same as the 772 error?

The tutorial talks about Preparation Points. What are they? There not in the manual. There are Planning Point though, but from a quick scan of the manual I can't work out exactly how they affect things other than the more you have the better an invasion will be. Are they the same as? If so please correct the tutorial or manual.

Prep points and planning points are essentially the same thing. I think the manual is in error on that. Either that or the chat in the forum is erroneous. LOL! I know they were called preperation points in PACIFIC WAR (witp's predecessor).

As for the tutorial crashing, it sounds to me as though you don't have the first two patches. They fix basic issues early on and its my understanding that they fix the crash bug with the tutorial as well. Look for 772 interim fix thread in the support forum to find the download links.

As for continuous vs 7 day cycles, I'm not sure what happened there. Again, it might be old ideas vs errata in the manual. Tough to say. I'm a major grog, so I'm playing single days... LOL! Hope these help

7 day was removed ... pointless ... if you want that kind of turn length, run continuous and interrupt with the F9 key when you want to do something.

3 day cycles are the maximum
