Well, it took 14 days for our CD to get to California. It used to take less time than that for my letters to reach my husband serving in the Navy on a ship in the middle of the Pacific 20+ years ago!

Thanks. I figure it's always good to have a little female perspective. [:)] Don't get on the computer much at home since we received the DD (what a surprise [X(]), so I occasionally view the threads from work. Since I'm not playing the game, I look at different topics than my husband does. Loved the info about recommended books - have 4 of them sitting next to me ready to check out from the library today.

And I'm at 18 days in New Mexico with no disk. I don't mind the digital download model of game distribution, but the CD on demand really sucks. Digitalriver really ought to be shipping these things out within 1 or 2 business days.

Don't feel to bad I just bought the download and it crashes every time I try to start it.
The world has never seen a more impressive demonstration of the influence of sea power upon history. Those far distant, storm-beaten ships, upon which the Grand Army never looked, stood between it and the dominion of the world. -- Alfred Thayer Mahan

I live in Tampa Fl and I just received mine two days ago. Hopefully you get yours soon. You may want to stop reading these posts, I know that it was driving me crazy reading about the game but not being able to play!

matrix's opinion

Post by herbieh »

Any comments matrix?

Nice to see a female on the forum.
Who ever is married to her is the luckiest guy in the world.

So, if Ive got my serial No , customer no ect, and I get someone to burn their downloaded cpoy, will that work?
Personally feel some moral issues, but I have spent my money for squat so far.[:@]
