If we could link the destruction of certain subsystems to events, in the ship DEF that is.

For example, a Star Wars modder may want to link the destruction of a "bridge" subsystem to the total loss of control (and maybe vector) of a Star Destroyer.

Or you could have the destruction of a reactor do damage (as in destroying the ship or just a highly damaging "explosion" that acts like if say a ship exploded there).

Or say you take a drive offline, that takes thrusters offline too.

Just musing...

You could locate the 'computer' system in the bridge of the model. if that gets taken out, IIRC, the ship can no longer be controlled, at least until it's repaired.

Actually I figured out that control works fine if you switch into manual. I think your Avionics have to be destroyed for total loss.
