Snowmobiles

I wonder if this type of vehicle can presently be simulated in SPWAW:

This is an unarmored sled, powered by an aero engine. Which unit class would be most suitable for this? Perhaps simply ski infantry?

'Ski Truck'? How do you stop this thing?? Hey how about a very high movement which has to be used completely each turn.
Seriously, a truck with a very high movement would be best. Trees, Rough, Buildings, etc would slow this vehical a lot just like a truck.

It is true that these thing avoided wooded areas, they were hell on the propellers. Perhaps the truck is a good idea, except that road movement would be too fast.

Would it be too fast we are talking the difference between hard packed snow and soft powder, it just might work out to a difference in driving style, slower on unmarked routes and very fast on marked.
Just what is the differenc in the movement rates between truck and ski on the same terrain?

Very interesting story, indeed!! So why not use them in SpWaW..much like an LMG squad.

Hey, why not use dogs with explosives too!! Great AT-weapon...

My feeling is that the speed of such a sled would be about the same on or off road - perhaps even higher offroad in good conditions. On the other hand, trucks get penalized for moving offroad as compared to tanks.
