Editor Question??

How do you edit the pilot replacements for 1943, 1944, etc?

I would like to give the Japanese better replements throughout the war.

Start up WIP: scenario editor, then choose your scenario and load it.

Click on "Pilots" and there you can change the starting experience and the replacment rate of pilots.

Like Grouchy said, but I wonder if the starting experience rates are universal though each year of the scenario or if they revert to the default levels after the first year. The manual does not make this clear enough for me to tell.

I know how to set them for the first year 1942, but how do you set for 1943 and beyond. The experince level for Japanese pilots gets lower and lower each year in the grand campaign, how can I change this???

I'm pretty sure they not revert to the default levels after the first year.
In a test game it's now 1943.
Did set starting experience for the IJN at 85, checked some squadrons who took in new pilote lately and I see they have an expereince of around 82 with 3 missions under their belt.
Default levels according the manual for the IJ are : 75 for 1942 and 60 for 1943.

Grouchy,

Glad to hear it, manual is not real clear on this so every bit of test data helps. [8D]

I bet they decrease (or increase for allied pilots) at the same rate as before editing. I think the only thing that changes is what level they increase or decrease from.
