Random crashings

I have what the website says is the latest version "1.2" for divided galaxies. For some reason the game randomly crashes and the only way to get out of it is to restart. The game freezes, the cursor gets stuck only being able to move on the top, and it turns into a blue rectangular box. The freeze-ups suck considering I'm addicted to the thing. [&:]
