I'm having only very marginal success with this design[:(] One-on-one/Veterans: Not enough LR firepower to actaully stop anything (that's acceptable), but not enough SR firepower to finish them off when they get close and no JJs to increase the distance. I get the feeling the LRM12 is just too big and slow for a medium (ammo was never a problem with the LRM, but in 3 battles I ran out of SRM ammo once and almost in another). The PG's minimum range just seems to be a real killer.. maybe a LL? In a squad it would probably work much better.

I did a quick try at a 'Manicore2' and got better results.

If I could figure out a good place to come up with another ton I have room for more SRM ammo, I just hate to swap the PL for a ML.. agian

Didn't convince me either, wasn't gonna post it but I needed another PG, and wanted to see how the LRM12 looked like in a medium.

Manticore, move the DCS to the LOT, the scanner to the CT, and the PL to the HD. [;)]

hehe... I must be geting slack [:D].. 'fixed'

I ended up 'fixing' the lack of PGs by adding the Starfire and Nevermore, but without those you'd definately need another in a smaller database.

The Starfire was already added some time ago for the dual PGs. The Nevermore, not interested in more GMs.
