Danova Borova

Has anyone else experienced this. 3rd campaign..1st mission (fighters) .get transported to a sector beggining with M...sorry cannot think of name. Two gates one Danova-borova the other Borova-Danova....just get transported from one to the other...how do I get out of this sector?

Just hit Escape and select End Mission while there are no enemies around.

Done twice now and after killing aprox ten fighters and about four destroyers and promoted to Captain my Score is now -820!
