Unable to give orders over the radio

I've transfered to a destroyer in the 3rd campaign.. and in the 1st mission ( patrol), i noticed that while the other destroyer in squad i could radio, it was #9, the frigates (#10 and 11 on radio) I couldn't call.. if I hit 11, it just goes to #1, then messege 1.

Maybe condensing the squadron comm into Desron #xxxx , and same for all cap ship comm?

Yea, it's even worse with CV's once you send out a bunch of fighter groups. I think they need to add another level to the radio to catagorize things down further. Perhaps a group then ship to break it down further or 9 = fighters (you could at least have 0 through 9 or 10 fighter groups on radio)

Maybe allow mouse click to select? that would make it easier since I seem to be using the mouse to select differen stuff anyway...

downed one to about 70 or 60 armor. Which brings me to the next point... I ordered the other destroyer to help me out.. yet it was soooooooo far out of position it wasn't funny. When I meen formation.. I expect it 1 meter away or at least an option of having it right there... line abreast

Yep, never use escort and yourself as the target, they will not be in a useful position to shoot to save you. Just like any other game that exists about war, you always want the attacks coming from a 90 degree offset.
