Bordj Toum Bridge ended early on Trun 6

Please help with this question:
An opponent and I were playing a secure p-bem game of Bordj Toum Bridge-42 which came with SPWAW. It is stated to be a 12 turn game. HOWEVER, the game just ended with my marginal victory - US 1078 to German 278 points and it is only the end of Turn #6. I'm not sure why it happened. I checked the editor for the scenario and it is a 12 turn scenario. Has anyone else experienced this??? Is this a bug?? If anyone has an explanation, I would appreciate it.

Its not a bug, Tom. The computer will end a battle sometimes. It occurs when it is quite certain that one side has absolutely no chance of winning or even getting a draw. What kind of victory did you get, a marginal or a decisive?

It was only a marginal but I think his A0 unit was destroyed - last I saw it, I had it shot down to two men left. The seven victory hexes would have only given him 90 points each (630 points). I won US 1078 to German 278.

Hello,
I was the opposing player in the game,
My Ao unit was still intact with 2 men and there morale was fine.I was just making an assault on the bridge and the game ended early.
