Repeat questions

Post by rogueusmc »

I have the e-mail notification of new threads and such and a very big chunk of the notices are for threads started by folks asking questions that others have repeatedly asked.

Please search the forums for your answers because the chances are VERY high that someone else has already asked your question and gotten an answer.

I haven't seen Frag in a while...last I saw him, he posted a message about getting tired of folks complaining and asking the same s#$% over and over again. He has, from what I can see, enjoyed helping folks with the game but things got too stupid for him and that is a sad thing.

So, folks, just relax and look to see if your problem has been covered before your repeat questions clutter the forum too much.

Rogueusmc,

You make a great point, and I have noticed this as well. I have just decided to post links to threads that say the same thing, so people can get their answers, and maybe after they have been on the board for a while, they will use the forum search feature. It works great and saves me a lot of time. I use to have the whole email notification feature turned on as well, but it just annoyed me too much with having to empty me email all the time, I can only imagine what your email inbox looks like over the last 24 hours with this new patch coming out.

Where's that hacker that attacked the forum a few months ago? I bet they could help clear these threads out some![X(]
